Art Deco Fire Screen in Tin 1940s

$ 950
  • Description
    Art Deco fire screen in tin, 1940s. This is a very decorative fire screen made out of tin, featuring a wonderful playful design resembling leaves or feathers in a very abstract way. It features a distinct art deco appearance. Also, the wear and patination on the surface is a great addition to the piece. When seen from besides, the fire screen is a wonderfully thin and light piece of furniture. The used material - tin - is unusual and makes it very light and subtle. The four feet keep it firmly to the ground. Great as a practical piece which protects you and your interior against sparks from the fireplace, but also a very decorative piece to give your fireplace a very elegant touch. Great vintage condition with some - very decorative - wear on the surface. Â
