Description
Newly reupholstered in a soft and nubby bouclé, these 'Corkscrew' swivel chairs, also often referred to as 'Nautilus', by Vladimir Kagan for Directional, circa 1980s / 90s. These classic Post-Modern club chairs swivel 180 degrees on a circular wooden base.
The beautiful creamy color of this bouclé is light - It's a beautiful fabric and beautiful color. Noted by Kagan as one of his most popular designs, so popular that in the 1980s and 1990s other companies started to produce the design without his permission. Examples produced by Directional however were the correct authentic examples that he created the design for - so this set of Corkscrew club chairs are great for Kagan collectors as well as interior designers with clients who enjoy authentic and original designs. -
