De Sede Patchwork Leather Cube Stool, Pouf, Ottoman, Switzerland, 1970s

$ 1,700
  • Description
    A beautiful authentic mid-century modern cube-shaped stool, pouf, or ottoman / footrest from the 1970s, produced by the renowned Swiss furniture manufacturer De Sede. As is typical of De Sede, it is crafted from soft, premium patchwork leather in various shades of brown.
    The piece is in good vintage condition, showing some charming signs of age and use. The leather remains wonderfully soft and supple, with a rich patina that can only develop over many decades. The interior foam is in excellent condition—fully intact, not brittle, and still flexible and supportive. It offers pleasant resistance and comfort when used as a seat.
    A versatile and highly decorative piece of furniture, suitable for a wide range of interiors.
    21x21“, height 15“.
