Description
The table features a rectangular top with slightly rounded corners, crafted from black lacquered wood. The frame is composed of two solid legs, also in black lacquered wood, which support the tabletop solidly and sturdily. The wood used is high-quality, treated with a glossy black lacquer that completely hides the wood grain and gives the table an elegant and refined look. One of the distinctive features of the Orseolo table are the joints between the various parts of the frame, crafted with extreme precision using satin-finish aluminum components, lending the table a touch of industrial chic. The table's proportions are carefully considered, creating a perfect balance between visual lightness and structural solidity.
The table's design dates back to 1972 and was produced by Gavina/Simon until the copyright passed to Cassina, when Gavina ceased to exist. The table was produced in various sizes and for various purposes. Here, we offer a very large console table (top length 265 cm). The table, which came directly from a private residence, was not in good condition: on one side, the aluminum elements had been covered with black lacquer, which we attempted to remove, restoring it to its original condition.
The top has been carefully cleaned, but it has scratches and a few dents: obvious signs of wear and tear. -
