Exceptional 19th century Biedermeier walnut cabinet/ bookcase/ vitrine coming from the early period in Austria around 1830. Elaborately veneered in fine burr walnut the beautiful surface shows an absolute amazing grain. The front of this remarkable Biedermeier vitrine/ cabinet features two doors whereby both doors still keep the original mouthblown glass panels. The insides of the doors surprise with an extraordinary looking so-called "counter veneered" surface made with ash wood. Inside this beautiful Biedermeier cabinet you have four compartments providing much space for your books, valuable tableware or other collectibles. The three shelves can easily be adjusted to exactly fit your needs. At the top of this extraordinary Biedermeier cabinet you have an additional pratical and also lockable drawer. All locks are still the original ones and are in great working condition. The amazing looking surface shows a traditional hand polished shellac finish which enhances the gorgeous grain of the walnut veneer.
