about Chrysanthemum Frutescens
“Chrysanthemum Frutescens” is a photolithograph with etching by Spanish Surrealist artist Salvador Dali (1904-1989), dated 1968, edition 78/200, from the Flora Dalinae portfolio.
The print depicts two daisy-like flowers whose centers are replaced by fried eggs on plates, growing from a leafy green stem, with small insect-like figures and scattered saucer shapes at the base of the composition. Signed and numbered in pencil. Published by Werbungs- und Commerz Union Ansalt; printed by Ateliers Rigal and Ateliers d’Art l’Ibis. -
