Vico Magistretti (1920–2006) was one of Italy's most influential architects and designers. Renowned for his timeless, functional approach, he created iconic furniture and lighting that have become landmarks of Italian design. His work is represented in major museum collections worldwide.
Designed by Vico Magistretti in 1968, the Golem chair features a black lacquered wooden structure with a padded black leather seat. Defined by its iconic high backrest, it is one of Magistretti's most recognizable designs and a tribute to the work of Charles Rennie Mackintosh.
