Description
This unique Tensile sculpture was created by Clarence Teed. Teed was a central figure in Midwest studio craft design community. Active during the mid-20th century, Teed became known for blurring the boundaries between fine art, sculpture, and functional design with his furniture forms and sculptures. This constructivist-inspired sculpture of a dynamic airborne figure of hand carved walnut on brass wire is signed under the base. it is in beautiful condition.
