Set in 18k yellow gold with Krulis’ signature hand-textured finish, the ring features a fiery 1.88 carat Australian boulder opal alive with electric flashes of green, blue, and red that shift mesmerizingly with the light. A single round brilliant-cut white diamond accent adds a refined glint of contrast, balancing the organic vibrancy of the opal with shimmering elegance. Sculptural and distinctive, this piece embodies Audrius Krulis’ signature aesthetic, a fusion of natural form and refined structure, where the raw beauty of gemstones meets the precision of master goldsmithing. Every detail is designed to celebrate individuality and the elemental allure of the materials themselves.
Size 5.75 and can be sized to preference.
Stamped and hallmarked.
About Boulder Opal: Boulder opal is among the rarest and most striking varieties of opal, found primarily in Queensland, Australia. Unlike other opals, boulder opal forms naturally within ironstone rock, creating a dramatic contrast between the vibrant opal veins and their earthy host matrix. This unique formation enhances both the gem’s durability and its mesmerizing play-of-color—a kaleidoscopic display of blues, greens, purples, and fiery reds that seem to shift and shimmer from within. Valued by collectors and jewelry connoisseurs alike, Australian boulder opal is prized not only for its vivid hues but also for its individuality. Each gem captures a natural landscape in miniature, embodying the wild beauty and geological wonder of the Australian outback.
Artist Focus - Born in Lithuania and based in New York, Audrius Krulis is an acclaimed sculptor, goldsmith, and fine jewelry designer celebrated for his masterful fusion of organic form and architectural precision. With a master’s degree in Sculpture from the Vilnius Academy of Arts, Krulis brings a sculptor’s sensibility to his work - each piece is meticulously hand-fabricated, showcasing his signature textured gold surfaces, bold gemstones, and innovative compositions that blur the boundary between art and adornment. Working primarily in 18k yellow gold, rare opals, and vibrant colored gemstones, Krulis creates one-of-a-kind jewelry that embodies both strength and elegance. His pieces are instantly recognizable for their tactile craftsmanship and refined modernity, earning him a devoted following among collectors of contemporary fine jewelry.
