A sophisticated pair of Italian ebonized wood frames in the Dutch style, C. 1940, each distinguished by faux tortoise painted panels and a strongly architectural profile. The frames feature a series of stepped, tiered layers that gradually descend toward the inner border, creating depth and a dramatic play of light and shadow.

The restrained geometric design and rich ebonized finish lend these frames a refined, graphic quality, equally suited to paintings, prints, mirrors, or other works of art. Interior opening- Ht: 39", Wd: 27"
