A charming French floral painted walnut armoire, C. 1880, featuring an elaborately carved architectural form and delicate decorative detailing. The tall single-door case is fitted with a shaped, beveled glass mirror, framed by an ornate surround with scrolling carved decoration. The arched crest is surmounted by a finely carved floral motif, while the lower section features additional carved ornament and shaped feet.

The softly painted finish enhances the intricate carving and elegant proportions, giving the armoire a romantic French character. Its mirrored door and slender silhouette make it particularly well suited for a bedroom, dressing area, or refined decorative setting.
