A fine quality pair of late 19th century French Rococo style ormolu chenets (or fire dogs).
This pair of chenets are of typical Rococo design, of scroll shape with scrolling foliate and acanthus leaf design.
The pair of chenets are of very fine quality, in excellent condition and have recently been professionally cleaned so are ready to go straight into a home and would be an ideal addition to a fireplace. -
