A superb Regency rosewood and inlaid brass desk stand / inkstand in excellent original condition.

This piece consists of a rosewood desk stand intricately inlaid with brass 'boulle' decoration to the top and also to all sides.

The brass handle is very ornate and to each side of this are two original heavy cut-glass inkwells with brass inlaid tops with two pen trays to either side, making this ideal for use on a partners desk but equally would be a great addition to any desk or writing table.

There is a solid brass edge and beneath this a useful drawer, also profusely inlaid with the brass work with a decorative brass knob.

The desk stand is supported by four very ornate brass feet.

This piece is in excellent original condition and can go straight into a home.
