Vintage Red Lacquer Decorative Box with Scalloped Footed Base

Offered by: MA+39

Description
A striking red lacquered box featuring a glossy, high-shine finish in a warm coral-red tone with natural mottled variation throughout the surface. The box has a rectangular silhouette with softly rounded, beveled edges on the lid and a distinctive scalloped, shaped base that gives it a sculptural, pedestal-like presence. The interior is fitted with a hinged lid for storage — ideal for jewelry, trinkets, or as a striking standalone decorative accent. Some visible wear and surface texture consistent with age and handling. A wonderful statement piece for a console table, dresser, or coffee table vignette.
