Pair of English Painted Pine File Drawers

$ 5,500
  • Description
    Dimensions: 28 ½” H x 31 ½” W x 15 ½” D

    This pair of 19th-century English pine file drawers would be a unique addition to any space. The tops are made from single planks of pine that are painted with faux wood grain and thin black borders, which are repeated on each drawer front. Each chest has 10 drawers that open with cupped metal pulls. The drawers are labeled alphabetically from A to J, but one chest’s labels have been scrambled and repeated, suggesting these may have been part of a larger set. The chests’ ebonized plinth bases provide great stability. Perfect for use as catch-all storage or even as a wonderful pair of bedside tables. We believe this to be in good antique condition considering the age, and any visible signs of wear are captured in the photos. Please view the detailed image gallery for the current condition or reach out with any questions.
