Description
Dimensions: 31” H x 118” W x 37 ¾” D
Here, we have a sprawling French table made from applewood, ash, and oak in the early 20th Century. The top consists of 5 applewood planks, which run the length of the piece and shed light on its continued use over time with moments of scoring, staining, and scratching across the richly patinated surface. The spun wood legs have a darker stain that contrasts nicely with the tabletop, and they provide ample support for the piece with an H-form stretcher between them. Visible all throughout are the wooden pegs and dowels used in its construction. The length of this table allows it to comfortably accommodate 8 – 10 sitters, and its design is versatile for a range of spaces and decorating styles. Gently cleaned and polished with a French paste wax, ready for use in your interiors. We believe this to be in good antique condition considering the age, and any visible signs of wear are captured in the photos. Please view the detailed image gallery for the current condition or reach out with any questions.
