Description
Dimensions: 29 ½” H x 40 ⅛” W x 24 ⅜” D
This early-19th-century Swedish writing desk is loaded with charm and character. Made from solid pine, it features remnants of its original blue painted finish. The desktop is a single pine plank with a beautifully worn and patinated surface. There is a single drawer in the apron that opens with its original iron forged key and spring-loaded lock. Painted in white on the drawer front are the initials “T.P.S.” and the year, 1827. The desk sits on four tapered pine legs. Gently cleaned and tightened, ready for use in your interiors. We believe this to be in good antique condition considering the age, and any visible signs of wear are captured in the photos. Please view the detailed image gallery for the current condition or reach out with any questions.
