    Elegant Art Nouveau / Jugendstil bentwood rocking chair, probably from the Austro-Hungarian Empire, circa 1900.
    * Manufacturer: Gebrüder Thonet, Vienna (attributed, unmarked).
    * Model: Rocking Armchair No. 4 (1886 catalogue).
    * Bent beechwood, dark-stained and polished to a satin gloss.
    * Two overlapping circular bentwood rings on each side, with scrolled ends to the back supports.
    * Old Viennese cane weaving (rattan) in good condition.
    * Restored condition with minor wear and signs of use to the wood.

    * W 57.5 cm / 22.6 in
    * D 108 cm / 42.5 in
    * Seat-H: 42 cm / 16.5 in (in the middle or the seat)
