This chest of drawers consists of a solid mahogany top with moulded edge and rounded corners.
This leads down two short over three graduated long drawers, all drawers cockbeaded with oak linings and original metalware with recessed quarter round fluted columns to either side, these being a nice feature.
The chest has solid mahogany ends with a moulded and shaped plinth below and all supported on ogee feet.
This chest of drawers is in very good condition for age, the top having some old marks adding to the character of the piece, it is of stable construction and can go straight into a home, this style of chest of drawers were mainly produced in the North of England. -
