Industrial Green Painted Trolley, Mid-20th Century

Description
Industrial metal trolley dating to the mid-20th century, constructed around a slender tubular frame with four rectangular open shelves. Raised edges run around each shelf, while the uprights continue above the upper level to form rounded handles at either end. Four caster wheels complete the functional construction, allowing the trolley to be moved easily while maintaining a particularly light and open profile.
The original green painted finish shows extensive traces of use, with scratches, losses and areas of oxidation revealing the metal beneath. Rather than obscuring its utilitarian origins, this aged surface emphasizes the straightforward construction and history of the piece. Two closely related examples are available and are priced individually. -
