Italian Modernist ceramic penguin sculpture designed by Aldo Londi for Bitossi, ca. 1950s.
Two sizes of this penguin were produced (large and small). This is the large (8.63" tall) version.
Features the Rimini blu glaze, a blend of turquoise, navy and green, with sgraffito etched geometric decoration
Excellent, vintage condition with no losses.
Unsigned, though the bottom has been felted.
H: 8.63" x Diameter: 5.25"
