19th Century French Carrara Marble Garden Table

Offered by: Jacqueline Adams Antiques

Description
A 19th century French garden table with a Carrara marble top, combining the durability of stone with the refinement of a classical form. The white Carrara surface, quarried from the same Tuscan beds prized by sculptors for centuries, has softened with age to a gentle, honeyed patina while retaining its characteristic subtle grey veining. It is an intimate scale, ideal as a bistro or breakfast table for two, a wine table on a terrace, or an occasional table in a garden room or conservatory. Marble-topped garden tables of this period are increasingly sought after for their ability to move gracefully between indoor and outdoor settings. Wear is consistent with age.

This is an antique and having been around for a long time, it will show signs of wear. Antique pieces have very much sought-after character and associated flaws. Please review photos for condition & contact us with questions!
