Original watercolor on paper laid down of the Headlands located in Rockport, Massachusetts by the American artist, Frederick F. Siemsen. Signed lower left and dated 1924. Several of the figures on the rocks appear to be fishing. American and New York Watercolor Society label verso. Condition is good. The watercolor is housed in its original gold over thin wood frame. Overall framed measurements are 18.75 by 20 inches. Under glass. Provenance: A upstate New York collector.

The Headlands is a famous rocky coastal headland and public footpath in Rockport, Massachusetts, often what people mean when referring to a scenic highland area near the town center.
