Susan Cirigliano has exhibited at the Loring Gallery, Rizzoli Gallery, Master Eagle Gallery, the Pen and Brush, and Art Director’s Club, all in New York; Diamond Gallery in Michigan; Jane Haslem Gallery in Washington, D.C.; Spring Street Gallery, Sussex County Fair, and Sussex County Library, all in New Jersey; and the Artists Equity Association. She is represented in the permanent collections of K-Mart World Headquarters and Reader’s Digest.
Ms. Cirigliano’s work has been published in Instructor Magazine; The Way We Looked, by Catherine Noren (E. P. Dutton); and by the American Ballet Theatre. Her calligraphy has been published by the American Geriatrics Society, the Pastel Society of America, the Public Education Association, the Columbia University Alumni Association, the American Language and Cultural Institute, and the Knickerbocker Club. Her photography has been published in Parent Guide and Mother magazines.
Ms. Cirigliano studied with Michael Ponce de Leon, Roberto de Lamonica, and Martin Oberstein at the Art Students League of New York. She received a B.F.A. with honors from the School of Visual Arts and an M.S. from the Bank Street College of Education. She received a Merit Scholarship from the Pennsylvania Academy of the Fine Arts. She is also a CZT (9) Certified Zentangle Teacher.
Ms. Cirigliano is currently head of the art department at St. Hilda’s and St. Hugh’s School in Manhattan. She has received many awards, including the Philip Eisenberg Award, the Concourse Prize in Graphics, an Excellence in Art Award, and several photography and Instructables awards.
