Mansour is the world's leading purveyor of antique, museum-quality rugs, carpets and tapestries. In his native Iran, Mansour Soleimani ran a prestigious rug company supplying rugs to the Persian royal family. After leaving Persia, Mansour and his son, Benjamin, opened the original Mansour rug gallery in London in 1984. The company’s flagship showroom in the heart of the Los Angeles’ design district opened in 1993 and a glittering 6,000 sq.ft New York location opened in early 2019. Throughout Mansour’s history, the company’s original mission has remained the same: To represent the most exquisite carpets and tapestries in the world and to share their knowledge of this timeless art steeped in history, culture and beauty.
In addition to their unsurpassed collection of antiques, Mansour’s contemporary and custom line, Mansour Modern, pairs the brand’s old-world savoir-faire with innovative materials and techniques to create the most luxurious contemporary rugs available on the market while allowing Mansour to offer individual client services befitting a couture atelier.
Mansour’s passion, knowledge, and integrity have garnered them many accolades, including the distinguished honor of the Royal Warrant from the Prince of Wales, and earned them a loyal following made up of the world’s top hoteliers, interior designers, and tastemakers.
