          Pennoyer Newman Distinctive Garden Planters, Cast from Estate Originals, are handcrafted one at a time in New York City and are replicated from gardens of some of the foremost estates in the U.S. and abroad [homes include those of of J.P. Morgan, Clay Frick, Daniel Guggenheim, Roberson Coe to Howard & Mary Phipps and many more].  Our collection of over 500 stone resin replicas are lightweight and weather-resistant. Each Pennoyer Newman casting is made by hand and uses a proprietary mix of pummeled marble, rock and resin.  The use of marble and rock encourages the growth of moss and lichen on the containers which creates the timeless and highly sought-after look of "aged beauty."  The lightweight benefit overcomes the issues of rooftop weight restrictions and allows women, like its founders to move planters around their own gardens without the assistance of six men and a fork lift. Virginia Newman & Dinny Pennoyer Nadai

In 2003, Virginia Newman Yocum (left), gardener and business developer, joined founder Cecily Pennoyer to continue to bring the company forward, offering new designs, unique colors, and custom sizing to meet the many needs of today’s discerning consumers. Cecily’s daughter, Dinny Pennoyer Nadai (right), now joins Virginia to carry on Cecily’s legacy and namesake into the future.
