          Whether he is reimagining a SoHo loft, an Upper East Side ‘Classic Six’ apartment, a Connecticut country house or East Hampton retreat, Glenn Gissler’s interiors are places made for the art of living, meshing his clients’ needs and tastes with his own expertise in all that relates to the creation of a home. Gissler integrates rigorous training as an architect with a rich knowledge of design and decorative arts, particularly those of the 19th and 20th centuries. He also draws upon more diverse artistic and design interests, curating for clients contemporary fine art, African sculpture, world ceramics and vintage textiles, among other elements. Gisslerhimself often designs luxury custom furniture for projects, executed by the most skilled craftsmen in the New York area. The result of this intensive creative process is an interior world filled with visual interest which never seems to have been “decorated”, but to have evolved through the thoughtful decisions of everyday life.

Trained as an architect and practicing as an interior designer, Glenn Gissler is known for his understated, elegant sensibility, paying particular attention to architectural detail and craftsmanship. He artfully combines traditional and contemporary furnishings in rooms that are comfortable, polished and visually striking without seeming 'decorated'.
