A Tahiti Beach Residence
The owners of this 12,000 square foot Coral Gables home loved the curved organic spaces conceived by architect Mitch Kunik, but they turned to interior designer Michael Wolk to fine tune the interior layout and to give each room the kind of strong, elegant contemporary style that they wanted. Inspired by the timeless interiors of classic Miami Beach Hotels, Wolk created a look that he calls neo-modern -- a combination of dynamic American design and European refinement. The sprawling multi-level house overlooking Biscayne Bay incorporates a palate of subtle colorations in rich materials – along with modernist furnishings throughout, many of which Wolk custom-designed for the home.
