Beverly Morrison
American
Los Angeles based sculptor, Beverly Morrison, has been honing her skills in clay for the last 2 decades. Referring to her work as Modern Day Relics, Beverly’s sculpture explores eastern philosophies of imperfect beauty. Celebrating the rawness of clay, she allows cracks, crevaces and textures to play center stage through her minimalistic forms and vessels. A process oriented person, Beverly shows homage to her muse, mother nature, by mixing and developing her own clay bodies; wanting to be part of the “sculptural dance” from the beginning.
She earned a BA in Studio Arts from California State University of Long Beach; however, her accomplishments in clay have been self-educated and guided by inspiration found in the natural world.
