Elektriska AB Chr Bergh & Co — later known by the lighting brand Cebe — was founded in 1894 in Sweden by engineer Christian Bergh. Initially established as Christ Bergh’s Electrical Bureau in Malmö, the company grew into a prominent producer of electrical appliances and lighting fixtures. Around 1930 the firm was acquired by ASEA but continued to operate under the Cebe name, which became known for high‐quality lighting armatures in Sweden. Over time, Cebe lights became collectible examples of Swedish modern design, combining functional engineering with elegant form.
