Daniela Schweinsberg (born 1973, Frankfurt, Germany) is a contemporary abstract painter known for her large-scale mixed-media canvases that explore the emotional interplay between nature and expressive form. Beginning her artistic journey in 2004 while working in business, she studied under artists like Peter Tomschiczek, Peter Casagrande, and Professor Adam Jankowski, transitioning to full-time creativity by 2015–2016 after completing a master class in Bad Reichenhall.
Working from her Frankfurt studio since 2008, Schweinsberg uses acrylics, spray paint, charcoal, and pencil to develop richly textured, gestural compositions across both monumental and smaller canvases. Her work draws parallels to Abstract Expressionists like de Kooning and Cy Twombly. Many of her studio palette studies have even become standalone artworks in her acclaimed “Painting Diaries” series.
Her paintings have been exhibited internationally—across Europe, Asia, and the US—and acquired by public and private collections in 26 countries, including the notable collection of Stefan Simchowitz in 2021. Schweinsberg is also a member of Germany’s BBK artists association and has taught painting at the Art College of Rhineland-Palatinate in Alzey.
