Edouard Cazaux

Edouard Cazaux was a French ceramicist and artist who was born on September 18, 1889, in Arcachon, France. He is known for his innovative use of glazes and his contributions to the Art Deco movement. Cazaux studied at the École des Beaux-Arts in Bordeaux before moving to Paris in 1911. He worked as a decorator for several years before opening his own ceramics studio in 1920. Cazaux's work was exhibited at the Salon d'Automne and the Exposition des Arts Décoratifs in Paris, and he was awarded the Legion of Honour in 1936. He passed away on December 27, 1974, in Paris, France.
