Fritz August Breuhaus de Groot was a German architect, designer, and artist who is known for his contributions to the fields of industrial design and architecture during the early 20th century.
 
Born in Solingen, Germany, in 1883, Breuhaus de Groot trained as an architect and began his career designing homes and public buildings in Germany. In the 1920s, he turned his focus to industrial design and became one of the pioneers of the modernist movement in Germany.
 
Breuhaus de Groot's designs were characterized by their simplicity, functionality, and use of new materials, such as steel and glass. He was a proponent of the Bauhaus movement and worked closely with its founder, Walter Gropius.
 
Breuhaus de Groot's designs included everything from furniture to lighting to household appliances. He also designed several notable buildings, including the Siemensstadt Housing Estate in Berlin, which was one of the largest modernist housing developments in Europe at the time.
 
Breuhaus de Groot continued to work as a designer and architect until his death in 1960, leaving behind a legacy of innovation and creativity that continues to influence the fields of design and architecture to this day.
