Nils Landberg

Born in Västra Vingåker, Södermanland, Sweden in 1907, Nils Landberg was a designer for Orrefors Glass-works. He is best known for his iconic "Tulip" glasses, for which he won the gold medal at the Triennial in Milan in 1957 His minimalist, modern designed lighting works were also featured the Paris Exhibition in 1937 and the World Exhibition in New York in 1939, and can be found at dozens of museums in Sweden today, including at the National Museum in Stockholm.
