OH Sjögren is a renowned furniture manufacturer based in Tranås, Småland, Sweden, with a rich history that spans over 110 years. Established in 1902 by Oskar Herbert Sjögren, the company initially specialized in producing carriage seats for horse-drawn carriages. As the automotive revolution replaced the horse-drawn carriage, OH Sjögren pivoted to furniture manufacturing, quickly becoming one of Sweden’s most prominent names in the industry.

Since the 1950s, OH Sjögren has been closely linked with iconic Swedish designer Carl Malmsten, who collaborated with the company to produce a collection of timeless furniture. Malmsten’s designs, such as the "Farmor" armchair and "Samsas" sofa, remain a cornerstone of OH Sjögren's offerings, cementing the company’s legacy in Swedish craftsmanship.

Today, the company is led by Håkan Sjögren, the great-grandson of the founder, continuing the tradition of producing high-quality, handcrafted furniture. In addition to its Malmsten collection, OH Sjögren is also known for its innovation in ergonomic design, with the popular "Seat Up" armchair. Specifically designed for elderly individuals and those with limited mobility, the Seat Up chair utilizes patented technology to assist users in transitioning from sitting to standing effortlessly. With a blend of tradition and innovation, OH Sjögren remains a key player in Swedish furniture manufacturing.
