Broyhill Furniture

American, 1926 - 2014
Broyhill Furniture Industries, Inc. was a leading American manufacturer of medium-priced wood and upholstered household furniture. Founded in the 1920s in North Carolina, the company grew steadily under the founder, his brother and other members of their family. Broyhill is probably best known for the mid-century modern Brasilia line. As American consumer taste grew in the 1950s, Broyhill shifted from it's moderately priced furniture line and launched the Broyhill Premier line in 1957. Broyhill had expanded into the Lenoir Chair company to created the Premier line and by the 1960s, once the Premier line had been established, Broyhill labeled their remaining products under "Lenoir House". Broyhill Furniture, Broyhill Brasilia, Broyhill Premier & Lenoir House all remain popular vintage brands today.
