Part of a limited edition of 2,500 hand-numbered copies, issue 18 of the highly collectible Visionaire magazine was the first of their issues to be focused fully on fashion throughout. Held in a specially-made brown leather case from Louis Vuitton, with their desirable and immediately recognisable monogram design, Visionaire was able to assemble a staggering assortment of forty-four of the most innovative and influential artists, photographers and image-makers to give their personal interpretation on selections from forty-five equally important fashion designers. Highlights include Nan Goldin’s collaboration with Helmut Lang, Jurgen Teller shooting Hussein Chalayan, Terry Richardson’s take on John Bartlett, and Craig McDean’s nine-page life-size foldout featuring Comme des Garcons.
