19th Century John Bennett , Paris alabaster with Gilt brass design detail mantel clock . The clock features an alabaster case with turned columns and gilt brass metal mounts on a detachable gilt wood base . Eight day brass movement with rack and snail strike . Dial marked " John Bennett , Paris / 64 & 65 Cheanside , London," movement is signed " Japy Freres ". The clock is in great condition . Minor wear consistent with age / use . The clock measures 21 inches tall X 10 inches wide X 8 inches deep.
