Elegant mid-19th century French mantel clock, finely crafted with gilt-bronze ormolu mounts and exquisite hand-painted Sèvres porcelain panels. The clock is adorned with striking bronze sphinx figures at each side, resting on four bronze paw feet, and surmounted by a bronze crest finial.
The porcelain panels are beautifully painted against a deep red ground, featuring delicate decorative motifs that highlight the refinement of French artistry during this period. The combination of richly gilded bronze and vibrant Sèvres porcelain reflects the opulence and taste of 19th century France.
