1949 GE Telechron 8B22 Silver-Plated Electric Desk Clock

This vintage General Electric Telechron Model 8B22 electric desk clock was made in the United States in 1949. Its clean rectangular form is enhanced by a reflective silver-plated case and an elegant rope-twist border along the base, giving the clock a refined decorative quality associated with late Art Deco and early postwar design.

The smooth metal surfaces, compact proportions, and small rounded feet create a handsome architectural appearance that works equally well on a desk, bedside table, mantel, or bookshelf.
