Description
This sleek and iconic Mid-Century Modernist "Saucer" wall clock, model 2H101, was designed by Telechron, a celebrated leader in American clockmaking. Dating to circa 1950, the clock features a circular body framed in brushed aluminum, offering a subtle metallic sheen that captures the streamlined elegance of the era. The geometric simplicity of the design reflects the modernist aesthetic that defined mid-century design.
The dial is encased in Bakelite, a durable and richly textured material often used during the mid-20th century. The bold hour markers, clean lines, and saucer-like silhouette make the clock both a functional timepiece and a striking work of art. This vintage classic epitomizes the fusion of purpose-driven design and aesthetic sophistication that Telechron was known for. Perfect for collectors and lovers of Mid-Century Modern decor. Wired to American Standards, this clock is fully functional and keeps time accurately. In Excellent Vintage Condition.
American, Circa 1950 -
