Art Nouveau sterling silver picture frame. Made by Tiffany & Co. in New York. Molded rectangular surround with acid-etched ornament in form of spiky and spindly leaves. Top center vacant. With beveled glass, silk lining, and scroll silver support for portrait (vertical) display. Fully marked including maker’s stamp, pattern no. 13582 (first produced in 1898), and director’s letter T (1892-1902). Very good condition.
