Dimensions: 51 ⅜” H x 24 ⅜” W x 25 ⅜” D

A large, 19th century Dutch square column or pedestal, covered in a variety of painted faux-marble to elevate precious artwork, décor, or greenery in your interior. The top surface is a smooth, patinated chocolate brown transitioning into an Emperador marble effect around the capital. The base of the pedestal is constructed of paneled wood that has been hand-painted in a faux marble finish to mimic a variety of siena and red-veined breccia marble that showcases the talent of the artist to study and recreate these exotic stones. The sturdy base repeats the dark tones and ebonized (painted) lines as the capital above. Be sure to view the detailed images to see the current condition of this statement pedestal as there are a number of areas of abrasion.
