Description
A beautifully patinated 19th century European stone statue depicting the Farnese Hercules, an ancient statue of Hercules made by Glykon in the early third century AD which is one of the most famous sculptures of antiquity. A muscular yet weary Hercules leaning on his club which has the skin of the Nemean lion draped over it, and holding the golden apples stolen from Hesperides and hidden behind his back, in his right hand. This piece is beautiful in color and is a timeless piece for interior or garden decoration. Be sure to view all the images to see its details and current condition.
