Curly birch is a rare variety of birch that occurs naturally in Finland and is highly appreciated for its beautiful patterns in the wood, and is widely used in decorative pieces or highly prized items. Quite often people used the wood to make such bowls and boxes for their jewelery and precious items or just for decorative use in their houses.
