    This large Art Deco vase in transparent and frosted glass, painted in black, is a creation by the Russian artist Anatole Riecke, signed and dated 1932. As Master Glassmaker at La Coupole in Paris, he was responsible for the iconic Art Deco decor of this Parisian hotspot during the 1930s. Rectangular in shape with varying thickness, this vase is adorned with geometric skyscrapers in black painted frosted glass, echoing the cubist influence of the artist. This piece is in superb condition.
