Description
Beautiful and calming female Buddha — Goddess of Mercy and Compassion — glazed in Bitossi's Cinese (Chinese) finish — a muted, textured lava glaze in soft turquoise blue. Londi's attempt to recreate the patina of ancient Chinese bronzes — centuries, maybe millennia, of age achieved in a single pass through the kiln. Believed to bring good luck and protection to the home.
