Description
It is a very old jar in Japan. This is a pottery called Tokoname ware. Tokoname is a kiln located in Aichi prefecture, Japan. It is said to have originated around the 12th century. Also, in Japan, there are 6 kilns with a long history that are still going on. It is one of them. This is a jar made around the Muromachi period (1400s-1500s). It is believed to be a jar that contained seeds.
