Contemporary Sake-Cup by Murakoshi Takuma

$ 450
  • Description
    A deep and broad open cup by Murakoshi Takuma covered in his signature three-colored glaze combination enclosed in the original signed wooden box titled Shunju Shochu Nomi. The artist indicates he made this for Shochu, a stiff Japanese alcohol. Fired on its side, there are deep shell impressions in the glaze with two beautiful crystalline green eyes between. Deeply scored by the artists fingers, it is a pleasure to hold and feel both the wight and texture. The cup is 12 x 10.5 x 11 cm (4 x 5 x 4-1/2 inches) and is in excellent condition.
