Description
Rare pair of covered vases or dredges by Anthony Redmile, London circa 1970. Signed.
They are each made of an ostrich egg divided into two parts, set in a highly worked silver metal frame and supported by a pedestal made of three warthog horns decorated with malachites, surmounted by a small monkey.
The base is in blackened wood covered with silver metal.
The lids are in malachite, turned egg-shaped. - More Information
